I was the first wheelchair user to be in the gay pride parade for several years representing my community. I've been a board member on liberating Spirit Metropolitan Community Church and lgbtqia organization that caters to the needs of our community in Boise and has for the last 40 years. I'm very happy to be a participant in this activity to bring more awareness and join in solidarity with the struggle we face in a country that does not value our lives.
